Questions for DADA Piercing

Short answers: walk-in, jewellery, prices and tattoos at DADA.

What if my piercing sits crooked?

That’s why you see the marked spot in the mirror, and we only pierce once you say yes. If you still feel something isn’t right afterwards, come by. We’ll take an honest look, no excuses and no blame.

Can I just drop by?

Yes. No appointment, just walk in – we are open Mon–Sat 11:00–19:00 and Sun 12:00–18:00. If it’s busy, we tell you honestly how long it will take instead of leaving you sitting quietly in the waiting area.

How much is a piercing at DADA?

Earlobes from €39, most piercings €55 to €65, jewellery included. If something costs extra, you hear the price before the piercing, not at the till.

Does it hurt?

Yes, briefly. A prick, a few seconds, done. The waiting beforehand is usually worse than the needle.

From what age? And what do I need to bring?

A valid ID, the original and not a photo on your phone. Under 18 only with your parents’ consent – we clarify exactly what you need beforehand via WhatsApp or phone. Sounds like paperwork, but it saves you going home without a piercing.

What jewellery goes into a fresh piercing?

Starter jewellery in implant-grade titanium. The bar is a little longer at first because fresh piercings swell, and is shortened later. Nickel allergy? Tell us before, not after.

Which piercing suits me?

Show us your ear. We tell you honestly what sits well with your anatomy, and also when something won’t work and why.

It’s red and swollen. Is that normal?

In the first days usually yes – a fresh piercing is a small wound and behaves like one. If it gets worse after a few days, hot or pus-filled, don’t take the jewellery out yourself; come by and we’ll take a look, no blame. If you have a fever, see a doctor, not us.

How do I look after my new piercing?

Boring, but effective: keep it clean the way we show you. Don’t twist it, don’t play with it, no home remedies from the internet. We explain the rest in the studio.

When can I change the jewellery?

Once it has healed, and that takes longer than you’d like: weeks for the earlobe, more like months for cartilage. We do the first change, so the length is right too.
